I am having the hardest time with this.

Is there anyway to use audacity to get the sound of both my desktop (minus me speaking) and my voice via microphone, on an even level, or do I have to have two audio programs running? Alternatively, is there anyway to get ezvid to record my desktop noise…

I use ManyCam. It’s a tad difficult to work with, but you can record the desktop and webcam at the same time, or just 1 or the other, and adjust  the audio.

But if you want really good video, I’d go w/FRAPS. It records desktop video (its specifically used for video games to capture the graphics and run smoothly) and record audio from both you and the game.

I used to use ManyCam for my livestreams, actually.  The catch with it is that is has a water mark… though, at this point, I may need to just suck it up and go back to my roots, haha.

Either way, I’m going to look into FRAPS.  That sounds like the best thing ever.  Thanks, Bloom! ^^

Someone call Joss Whedon! Bryan Singer’s using Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past, to be played by American Horror Story’s Evan Peters.

Okay, if this means that he can’t be in Avengers 2 then I am definitely not happy about it…Let’s face it in Days of Future Past he will have a minor role, there are so many mutants in the film already…Please, please, please just work it out and give us Pietro in both films…I’m practically begging here

I don’t think it’ll impact the Avengers 2 movie at all because Kevin Feige said neither had the rights to them so both can use them.

Yes I know, but they also said that the script could change many times till the actual shootings…Ah I don’t know, I just don’t want to get too excited about Pietro appearing in both films and then get really really dissapointed

I feel it’s strange that they’ve just announced Quicksilver for the X-Men movie when it’s already in production. I’ve heard that the legal rights concerning Quicksilver is that who ever portrays him first then gets to owns the character. Again not sure if it’s correct because since the Avengers 2 movie announcement, I’ve read a lot of different takes on the legal issues surrounding Q & SW. I’m thinking he’ll more than likely be a cameo given how many characters they’ve got crammed in that movie.

Also, I don’t feel Evan Peters is hot enough to be Pietro :P

Okay, wow, relevant.

I love Pietro (as if we didn’t already know this), and I love Evan Peters, but I can state almost definitely that I don’t think I like the idea of mixing the two.  I’ve made commentary about how I think he’d be an interesting actor for Tommy, that definitely does not apply to Pietro.  At all.  I’m even trying to think about different alternate versions (Evolution, Ultimates, etc) and I can’t picture this.

Also, thanks for a bit of clarification on the legal rights to Q & SW.  I always assumed that Fox had the rights, what with them being part of the original Brotherhood, and the semi-cameo in Origins.
